I just found this on CL... and all the sudden my Civic needs a new engine and trans.

about a 80hp boost, an extra gear and sweet 5x100 hubs, and nicer seats.. all for 800 bucks.

well yeah but initial cost. heck it almost be worth it for just the seats. Also there's a bunch of other RSX parts I wouldn't need that I could sell to cover the rest of the cast. and the 200 I could scrap it w/o engine and trans for.

Haha yeah there is some a EP3 (2002-2004 Si) parts I would need, and of coarse there's K series engine and trans mounts, but I'd have almost everything I would need.

I'm sure enough Si's have been stolen and stripped on CL and Ebay that you could find all the parts you need in under an hour.

yup its the quickly cheddar expenditure I'm worried about. I've been doing research since I found the ad and I'm both more confident that I can do it and 100% sure I can't afford to.

I'm not kidding, strip it and sell it even if you don't transplant to your car, that engine/trans combo often goes for $2000-6000, worth your time to resell I'd think
